Question by Inday: Is spinsterhood more accepted in the Philippines now?
Time was old maids were not exactly looked up in the Philippines. Like there was some kind of stigma attached to being unmarried at a late age. With more and more Filipinas independent in so many ways, the appeal of marriage may seem lost on them. A lot of women are now single by choice. Is our society “kinder” to them now than decades ago?

I have aunts and an uncle who decided not to get married and we never looked at them differently. But I think, marrying at a late age for women are now more common and acceptable than a decade ago.

Question by And Still _smile_: Can you say “I left my heart in the Philippines”?
I have been around YAP for quite sometime now and I am seeing a lot of the guys who have in one way or another found themselves in love with the Philippines and/or with Filipina/Filipino. When you guys went over to see here. Did you really think that you will leave your heart in the Philippines?

My question is for everybody who visited the country for whatever reason.

Question by : I am a filipina married in english man in Philippines how can i be with him in england if he is disable?
I am working here in saudi in military hospital for three years now me and my husband known each other for three years and we want to be together the problem he is disable have asthma problem and heart problem I want to be with him but he have no work in england I am the only one working how to be with him in england to stay with him there?

Right… You have been married to your husband for 3 years, but you have not been together? He is in England, disabled and without work (on benefits, basically), and you have been working in Saudi for those three years?

It is VERY very difficult now to get Residency in Britain; the authorities are clamping down HARD on marriages of convenience, and you would have to prove all manner of things that you and your husband are a real married couple.

I wouldn’t rate your chances of joining him very highly, to be honest. Perhaps HE could join you in Saudi, seeing as you are working?

Videographer’s opinion: Jerry Acuzar’s hobby turns into a majestic place for Philippine History. Las Casas de Filipinas de Acuzar is located in Bagac Bataan, it is a haven for colonial houses of which are not being taken care of, can be considered as a national heritage park.
