Time was old maids were not exactly looked up in the Philippines. Like there was some kind of stigma attached to being unmarried at a late age. With more and more Filipinas independent in so many ways, the appeal of marriage may seem lost on them. A lot of women are now single by choice. Is our society “kinder” to them now than decades ago?

I have aunts and an uncle who decided not to get married and we never looked at them differently. But I think, marrying at a late age for women are now more common and acceptable than a decade ago.

I have been around YAP for quite sometime now and I am seeing a lot of the guys who have in one way or another found themselves in love with the Philippines and/or with Filipina/Filipino. When you guys went over to see here. Did you really think that you will leave your heart in the Philippines?
My question is for everybody who visited the country for whatever reason.

This girl, been off and on with her for awhile now. Anyhow, I made another friend online from the phillippines, who is around my age. The off and on grilfriend is disgusted and says she cn never trust me again. I just needed to know what other Filipina’s were like. JUST FOR FRIENDSHIP! She says it’s disgusting. Is this normal cause she says all filipina’s are like this.
